News Death Notice
BYRD, Charles E. Age 88 of Fairfield passed away Monday March 2, 2015 at Hospice of Southwest Ohio. He was born October 9, 1926 in Edmond, Kentucky the son of the late Robert and Odra (Valentine) Byrd. Mr. Byrd worked as a field service engineer, servicing heavy equipment for many years, retiring in 1986. He worked for Highway Equipment Company and Dravo-Marks during his career. On October 11, 1986 he married Ginger Buss. Mr. Byrd took care of the End of the Trails Campground for many years and established many close friendships there. He is survived by his wife Ginger; one daughter Gwendolyn (Mike) Teater; one granddaughter Kami Barker; three great grandchildren Bayli, Gabriel, and Dylan, and two brothers Arza Byrd of Kentucky and Calvin Byrd of Indiana. www.websterfuneralhomes.com
