Coy Lynn Ricketts

Coy Lynn Ricketts, age 77, of Almaville, Tennessee, passed away the morning of Thursday, June 30, 2022 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. Mr. Ricketts was the son of the late Lawson Ricketts and Jeanette Miller Ricketts. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Brenda Ricketts; son, Steven Ricketts and his wife Ginger of Almaville; daughter, Pamela Bergsmith and her husband Ron of Memphis; grandchildren, Ashley Scavone and Andrew Bergsmith both of Memphis and Cody Ricketts of Almaville; great grandchildren, Daven Jacket and Luna Scavone; and by siblings, Wanda (David) Ricketts McGary of Murray, Kentucky and Jessie (Joyce) Ricketts of McKenzie, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by son, Kenneth Ricketts, who passed away in an automobile accident in 1996, while in service to our country.

Mr. Ricketts will be privately celebrated by his family with a graveside service and then publicly celebrated later in October.

He was a man of many talents and a strong work ethic, not afraid to get his hands dirty. He was a talented truck mechanic and heavy equipment operator and a safety conscious truck driver and school bus driver. Most recently, he had found great joy in being a Mule Skinner and all that involves.
