Donald J. Duplass

Mr. Duplass was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 9, 1937, the son of the late John Theodore Duplass and Dorothy McGovern Duplass. He served in the United States Marines Corp. He retired from the Williamson County Sheriff Department and also worked with Columbia City Police. He graduated from Louisiana State University and was an avid LSU fan. Mr. Duplass played College Football with Billy Cannon. Don loved country music dancing. He was a body builder and won many awards while competing. He was a trainer, loved to travel, and was a race car driver in England. Most important to Don was the love for his wife and family!

Survivors include his wife, Patricia W. Duplass; two sons, Michael R. Duplass; Donald J. Duplass, Jr.; seven daughters, Christina Duplass Fisk, Carol Duplass Marcel, Cindy Duplass Horn, Jaimie Duplass, Amy Duplass Hewitt, Lyn Duplass, and Lori Duplass; a brother, Johnny Duplass; and numerous grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, September 28, 2015, at six thirty in the evening, Roselawn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request memorial contributions be made to Alive Hospice 1718 Patterson Street Nashville, TN 37203.
