

TSgt (Ret) Donald F. Robichaud "Robi", age 79, of Murfreesboro, passed away on October 26, 2012 at NHC of Murfreesboro and now has joined his wife and our wonderful mother in heaven. He was a native of Hartford, CT and moved to Murfreesboro in 1972. Don enlisted in the United States Air Force where he fought in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Upon military retirement he moved to Tennessee and pursued a career as a salesman. Don met everyone with a smile and was known for his great sense of humor. Don would often serenade you with a song. Don had a love of sports and held military base records in Bowling during his service time. In addition to his bowling, Don was an avid Baseball Fan who loved the Atlanta Braves. We loved our Pops and he will be dearly missed.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Si and Margaret Charon Robichaud; also preceded by his wife, Christine Price Robichaud. He is survived by two sons, Mike (Luanne) Robichaud of Murfreesboro and Tim (Jo Anne) Robichaud also of Murfreesboro; four daughters, Sherri Bennett of Georgia, Brenda (Mark) Bailey of Smyrna, Cindy (David) Moody of Murfreesboro and Donna (Bradford) Haynes also of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Kellie Robichaud, Matthew, Brandon, and Kaitlyn Robichaud, Joey Lancaster, Bret and John Bailey, Christina Moody, Connor and Jillian Haynes; also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Bro. Ron Byers officiating. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as active pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. 615-893-2422.
