

Donald Ray Fox, age 77, of Lavergne, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, surrounded by his family at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Fox was the son of the late Glenn and Nancy Stinson Fox. He is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Phyllis Fox; daughter, Stacey Michelle Fox; son, Donald Jason Fox; siblings, Leo Fox and wife Mary, Nona Fox, Tommy Fox and Jean Lovelace; brothers-in-law, Phil Weatherly and wife Pam and Gary Weatherly and wife Jane and Cecil Daugherty; numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. He was also preceded by siblings, Sharline Daugherty and Dale Fox.
Service to celebrate Mr. Fox will be at Four O’clock the afternoon of Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Roselawn Funeral Home his nephew Rev. David Daugherty will officiate and visitation will be from Two O’clock until the service begins at Four O’clock. Graveside service will be at One O’clock the afternoon of Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Post Oak Cemetery in Camden, Tennessee.
Mr. Fox grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and graduated from East Nashville High School and he served his country in the United States Army. He was a tow motor specialist with International Comfort Products in Lewisburg, Tennessee. He loved to spend time with his wife and children going antiquing and going to estate sales. Mr. Fox also loved all things Hop Along Cassidy and collected unique cap guns. He loved Hop Along Cassidy so much that his grandmother called him “Hoppy.” He loved the University of Tennessee sports and was a huge fan of The Beatles.
