Ingeborg Troster

Ingeborg Troster, age 94, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Otto and Alice Buss Asp. She has now joined her husband of over 49 years, Edward Troster, Sr., who passed away in 2003, as she was so longing to do. She is survived by her son, Mark Troster and his wife Maria and Maria’s children Lessly and Cindy; granddaughter, Meagan Egan and spouse Elizabeth; brother, Winfried Asp and his wife Barbelle and their children Christopher and Adrienne. She was also preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Gabrielle Troster; brother, Hans Joacham Asp.

A service to celebrate Mrs. Troster will be at Two O’clock the afternoon of Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Paster George Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will also be on Tuesday, January 21 from Twelve Noon until the service begins at Two O’clock at Roselawn Funeral Home, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129.

Mrs. Troster loved her family, friends, church family at Advent Lutheran Church in Murfreesboro and any baby that she saw. Memorial contributions may be made to Monroe Carell, Jr. Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, The American Cancer Society or Advent Lutheran Church.
