L. D. Langford, age 78, of Smyrna, passed away on Tuesday evening, December 27, 2016. Mr. Langford was the son of the late William Lee and Effie Kemp Langford. He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Langford, his son, Perry Langford and 5 brothers and sisters. Mr. Langford is survived by his son and daughter in law, Don and Ophelia Langford; daughter in law, Michelle Langford; grandchildren, Jennifer and Dustin and Alex and Tanner; and Eleven great grandchildren. Services to celebrate Mr. Langford will be at One O’clock the afternoon of Friday, December 30, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home with placement to follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens in Lebanon. He lived in Nashville during the early part of his life and then moved to Rutherford County to help repurpose the Sewart Air Force Base when it closed.
