Linda G. Newman

Linda G. (Brewer) Newman, age 68, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with her family by her side. Mrs. Newman was the daughter of the late Howard T. and Edna Keith Brewer. Linda is survived by her husband, John N. Newman; son Steven Newman, daughter April Newman Starling and her husband Eric; brother, Marvin Brewer and his wife Judy; sisters, Carolyn Koralewski, Peggy Stacey and her husband Charles; Modine Brewer, Wilma Brewer, Kathy Del Papa and her husband Paul, and Tammy Nokes and her husband Tommy; sister-in-law Shri-Lahn Newman; sister-in-law Marie Kirby; grandchildren, Noah Newman, Amity Reed, Trevor Starling, Jacob McVay and Joshua McVay; numerous nieces and nephews she always loved as her own; and her beloved fur baby, Maggie. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Fred, Wayne, Donny and Kenny Brewer; and brother-in-law James Newman. Services to celebrate Mrs. Newman will be Monday, February 19, 2024, at 2:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home with her brother Marvin Brewer and nephew Michael Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 12:00pm until the service begins at 2:00pm.

Linda was a longtime employee of Ingram Publishing as an account specialist. She loved to spend time fishing and camping with her husband John. She was a talented artist, enjoying painting and drawing. She also had a passion for her flower and vegetable gardens. Memorials may be made to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
