Michael worked with us at Journeys In Community Living until his illness forced him to leave. We all enjoyed his stories and positive attitude. We especially appreciated the respect he had for the people we support at Journeys. Our sympathy to the Royse family.

Mike was the friend that would go out of his way to be a friend when it was least expected or least deserved. Always sporting a smile and a sharp wit he was a positive force in making every encounter with him a little bit brighter and your day a measure better. Rest in Peace brother.

I'm so sad that one of my very best friends has passed away. Mike helped me when I needed a place to live. He gave me a job when I needed it most. Because of the job opportunity, I met my lovey wife of the past 30 years. Thank you Mike for everything you did for me. I am a better person for knowing you & am forever grateful. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
