While still living in North Dakota, Alice married James Raub and had her son Craig. Later she left North Dakota and moved to California where she met James Miller. Their marriage lasted for 62 years until her passing.
Alice was very accomplished as a seamstress. She designed and sewed wedding dresses and made several of her own clothes. She was also gifted at crocheting and knitting. Her doll collection that was created over many years was one of her joys.
She is survived by her husband James Miller, stepdaughter Laura Miller, brother Nick Schiele and Frank Schiele; sister Monica Carpenter, granddaughter Jordan (Raub) Pryor, Husband Steve and 5 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Craig and eight of her siblings.
Mass will be given in her name on December 28, 2025 (12:00 pm) at Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church in Lake Forest, Ca.
Ashes will be interned at Miller- Jones Cemetery, Menifee California on January 22, 2026, at 11:30.
