Antonio Alvarez Tellez

On the evening of October 3rd, 2022, Antonio Tellez passed away peacefully at the age of 79 in Temecula, CA. Antonio was born and raised in Guanajuato, MX and Mexico City, MX, and spent his adult life in the United States. As a naturally curious, intelligent and creative young man, Antonio turned those instincts into a lifelong career in jewelry, owning a number of successful Los Angeles area shops he proudly helmed until retirement. He spent his subsequent years in the Las Vegas area, continuing to enjoy the fruits of his labor, often entertaining at home and about town, enjoying the company of his many friends and family.

He is survived by his sons Rick and Adam Nicholas Tellez, and their respective children, Alexander Anthony Tellez and Katherine Alexis Tellez, as well as his three remaining siblings, Teresa Fragoso-Poulos, Elia Tellez Angeles, and Luis Tellez, and former wives Lyn M. Scott, and Adriana Camberos. He is preceded in death by his parents, Norberto Tellez and Maria Dolores Alvarez-Garcia, as well as three siblings, Raquel, Enrique, and Alonso Tellez, and his first wife Bonnie Louise Tellez, the mother of his only two children. A memorial service will be held on November 18th, 2022 at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Murrieta, CA at 4pm.
