Mom and Dad were married for 61 years.  As long as someone’s lifetime.  Lucky is an understatement.  They were inseparable.

I am not certain the year or age of everyone but we have this photo in our house which I love very much.

JoAnn and I want to send our condolences to the entire family especially Auntie Lita.

Losing my dad last year was very hard, but Uncle,  Jerry and family were very supportive.  We stayed in touch with all during the last 8 weeks of dad's life in and out of the hospital and we will never forget the support.

I know this past year was challenging and thank God for my amazing Auntie and cousins who were able to provide love and support to Uncle during this past year.

I know Dad and Uncle are in heaven together and they are watching all of us everyday along with all the siblings who we miss very much.  

As a young child I really enjoyed the visits from our relatives living in the Philippines  who came to  State College and  Connecticut.
Staying close to mom's family was easier since everyone was in the states.  I am very grateful that Dad's side was able to travel and visit so often.  We especially got a chance to see Uncle and Auntie so much and the cousins as well.

JoAnn and I will continue to pray for all of you.

I love you all so much, I think about you every day. Getting to see him in May was very special to me and I will cherish that memory.  I am sorry for the loss of him here with us on earth, but I am sure he is in heaven waiting.

There are many things that I am very grateful for to Manny. He was my boss for a certain time in IBM but our interactions became more pronounced when we were already both out of IBM. 

Manny was one of the stalwarts of Blue Genes, our community of former IBMers. Having spent over 30 years in IBM he knew IBMers from several generations. He used this to connect with IBMers all over the world and expand our network. He was our main contact point for IBMers in the US and Canada. He was actively involved in the various reunions that were organized in the US. 

On my part, I always ran to him for advice when we were considering different projects and initiatives for Blue Genes to undertake. He was often my sounding board when we were looking at ideas and options to evaluate. 

On a personal note, it was very gratifying that we had similar political leanings. Even if he was US-based he supported the same causes that I did. One outcome of that was he gave me the opportunity to be up close to my idol during the book launch of "A Pebble that Floats" written by his cousin, Imelda Lahoz Argel. 

Dear Manny, I will miss the times when I could ask for your advice or your help and you could answer very quickly. But you have fulfilled your life mission with flying colors. I’m sure these words will apply to you. 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness! '

Our heartfelt condolences to Lita, Jerry and the rest of the family. May you find the strength and comfort you need at this time.

To our dear Tongson family,

It is sad when we lose another elder in our clan.  I wish I knew  Manong Bobot better but the few visits I’ve had with him, I remember him as a kind, positive and humorous person. May his spirit and memory guide our clan to better lives. 

Our deepest condolences to  our Tongson family and to our clan. May he RIP and thank you God for ending his long suffering!

Condolence to the Tongson family most specially to Lita. 
Thanking the Lord for the life of  Manny. He was my hiring manager at IBM in 1982 where I built my 32 years ofIBM  experience . He was also the one who approved my IBM achievement award where it paved the way for my 1st travel to Tokyo. I also visited him in Hongkong. I owe my life experience to him as he trusted me to do my best.  I shared the above during one of his birthday celebration. Thank you Manny.  
May the Lord strengthen the family giving them peace and comfort during this difficult times. He is in a better place where there is no more pain and suffering.🙏🥰
