Sallie Patricia Furfaro passed away at the age of 90, on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, in her home in Menifee, California, surrounded by her family. She was born to Paul Emerson Riley and Laura Mariean (Rhoads) Riley, on Thursday, November 17, 1932, in Ventura, California, and she was one of two children.
Sallie was an amazing artist, mother, and wife. She was married to Andrew Furfaro for 68 wonderful years, before his passing in June of 2020. They were blessed with three children that would later make Sallie a grandmother as well. Sallie enjoyed playing with her children, and grandchildren as well as her many pets throughout the years. In her spare time, she loved to paint, work with ceramics, read, and watch movies.
Sallie is survived by her three loving children, Darcie, Paul and Dina, her eight grandchildren, and her new little great-grandson. She and her unique stories will be truly missed by her family and many friends.
