Steven Jerome Schott

Steven Jerome Schott was born on May 30, 1963 in Moline, Illinois to his loving parents, Donna and Gerald Schott. Steven attended and graduated Riverdale High School in Port Byron, Illinois with the class of 1981.

In 1982 Steven enlisted in the US Navy and graduated his Recruit Training on October 29, 1982. Steven proudly served his country working as an Electronics Technician Second Class, he also worked in the Nuclear Reactor Control in the USS FLASHER (SSN613).

In 1989 Steven began working with Southern California Edison Company as a Nuclear Reactor Operator. Steven's accomplishments were many, the accomplishment he most loved was being a father to his four children. Steven is survived by his mother, Donna J. Sunlin, his four children, Ryan, Marielle, Kelli and Kaitlyn, his two brothers, Scott and Kris. Steven will be missed by all who were fortunate to have known him. Steven's comradery will be missed by his friends at Rosati's Pizza Pub in Temecula, California where he and all other Chicago natives from the area gather to cheer on The Chicago Bears and The Chicago Cubs.

Steven Jerome Schott passed away on September 9, 2023. Though the loss is great, the memories and the time shared with Steven will be held close and forever in the hearts of those that knew him.
