

He was born Sept. 14, 1943, in Many, Louisiana, to parents Johnny L. LeFeat and Mattie Belle Arie LeFeat.
Billy served our country with great pride and had a deep love for the USA. He served in the National Guard for six years with numerous assignments. "Whatever the duty, he did it with honor."
He was a millwright by profession, working many years at industrial construction sites. Billy also enjoyed craft projects.
For the past several years he had worked at Kroger in Nacogdoches. Billy loved his Kroger family.
His local family includes granddaughters, Kelley and Sheila Bently; grandson, Stephen Burns and family; and close friends, Terry and Linda Shade, Juanita Bentley, Michelle Buffington and kids, and Douglas and Maridee Stanley. Also surviving are sisters, Wanda Ritter and husband Therman, and Johnny Belle LeFeat; son, Derrick LeFeat; daughter, Daphne Clark and husband Joe; grandchildren, Brandy and Matt; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, with Bro. Allen Chaney officiating.
