

Bobby was born to James Grady Frederick and Annie Love Hill Frederick of Holly Springs, Texas, on August 27, 1939. Bobby and his brothers and sisters were musically talented. During their early years, they would play music on the local radio station and compete in talent contests. He graduated from Garrison High School where he played football. Shortly after high school, he met his lifelong love at the bowling alley, Juantia Frederick. They married in March 1962.
Bobby began his career at the NIBCO foundry in Nacogdoches.
In February of 1967, with his family, Bobby moved to Lake Jackson, Texas to join Dow Chemical. During his life in Lake Jackson, Bobby developed a long line of friends and coworkers while working, raising two boys and keeping a loving home for his family.
After 7 years work at Dow Chemical, he went on his own building new homes in the Brazosport area. During the late 1980’s Bobby joined Bobby Fortner and begin remodeling work until retiring and joining his son in their electrical business. Bobby continued playing music throughout his life with friends.
His talents included playing guitar, piano, auto harp, violin, harmonica, mandolin and singing. Bobby’s talent was a gift.
Bobby was one that would always make a positive impression on people he met and knew. He was kind, honest, loyal and well liked. He will be dearly missed by many.

Survived by Sister: Carolyn Frederick Ballow, Sons: Bobby Frederick and Malcom Frederick of Lake Jackson, Daughter in law: Diane Frederick of Lake Jackson, Granddaughter’s: Kathrine Waldrop and Husband of Alvin, Hannah Frederick of Angleton, Jennifer Lee and family of Sweeny, Kenilyn Downs and Family of Sweeny and Amber Stephenson of Lake Jackson and 8 great grandchildren. And many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM immediately followed by a service beginning at 2:00 PM. Services will be held at Cason Monk-Metcalf Home, 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965. Graveside Service will be held directly after the services in Appleby, Texas at Bethel Cemetery, 429 Happyland Road, Appleby, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Bowden, Lynville Frederick, Billy Ballow, Malcom Frederick
The Family would like to extend a special thank you to the fourth-floor nursing and doctor staff at the St. Luke’s-Brazosport Hospital for taking the time to comfort our Dad during his difficult times. Thank you to everyone, friends and family, for all your prayers and support.
