Carey was a joyful person who will be remembered for her infectious smile and laugh. She was a woman admired for her bold faith. She praised the Lord throughout her days by humming and singing her favorite hymns and praise songs. Carey loved flowers, listening to her husband play guitar and sing, and researching family genealogy. Her family adored her and she could make everyone feel welcome at family gatherings. God gave Carey a special measure of joy and faith that she lovingly shared with those around her. She guided others toward truth with love and even boldness when necessary! She could often be found praying for others, not only for big things but also for the little things in their lives. During her battle against cancer her faith was enlarged and made stronger. We love her for that and will miss her dearly.
