Caroline Momo Rodrigues

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ruggles officiating. Burial will follow at Moral Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Ronald Rodrigues, Jr., Chris Rodrigues, Jeremy Pruitt, Matt Rodrigues, Heath Pruitt and Tristian Rodrigues.

Friends and family are invited to visitation on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.

Caroline is the last in her family to pass on to Glory but she certainly was not the least. Her small framed body was only meant to side track your first impression of her. She was feisty, strong willed, and a good provider for her family. Caroline could save 90 cents of every dollar she made. She could size you up quickly and was not afraid to tell you what she thought about any situation. She had a wit about her that let others know if she picked on you she liked you! She was a hard worker and could cook up a storm. Her family will miss her dumplings and tea cakes most of all. Although they can remember her amazing meals they remember more about how she could pull the family together under difficult times. Caroline would always be able to help someone out no matter when they asked. She was generous and caring to those she loved the most.

Caroline is preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Annie Ramos Rodrigues; brothers, Frank Rodrigues and wife Viola, Henry Rodrigues and wife Mavis, John Rodrigues, Alex Rodrigues, Jr.; sisters, Janie Cruze and husband Herman, Louise Luna, Tommie Montes and husband Arnold and Josephine Lazarine and husband J.V.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald Rodrigues and wife Pam, Donald Rodrigues and wife Jacki; daughter, Terry Jo Pruitt and husband Lee; grandchildren, Jr. and Jessica Rodrigues, Chris and Matt Rodrigues, Jeremy Pruitt, Heath Pruitt and Sammi Jo Webb; step grandchildren, Amber Childress and Kelly Fitzgerald; 15 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Robert Luna; sister-in-law Jeanette Rodrigues and numerous nieces and nephews.

Should memorial contributions be made offer them to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and/or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
