

Ms. Watson grew up and attended school in Garrison, TX and was a member of New Faith Church in Sacul for over 20 years. She attended Nacogdoches Senior Citizens Center regularly where loved to play 42 dominos and bingo. Ms. Watson also had 22 years of dedicated service to Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jimmy Kelley and Kenneth Duncan.
She is survived by a son; Wade Watson and wife Brandi, daughter; Dawn Ites and husband Edward, grandkids; Amanda Sims and husband Matt, Dustin Watson, Zachary and Summer Watson and Lera Watson, great grandkids; Rileigh Sims, Malaki Sims, Maisie Sims and Everleigh Watson, sister; Linda Deason, brother; Ronnie Kelley and sister, Elaine Box.
Pallbearers will include Chris Box, Brian Box, Sam Deason, Josh Kelley, and Gary Bonham.
Visitation will from 1:00 p.m. up until service time, Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
A funeral service for Carolyn Ruth Kelley Watson, age 76, of Nacogdoches, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors Chapel with Brother Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
