Darlene Emma Flynn

Mrs. Flynn was born October 16, 1942, in Seattle, Washington, to parents Donald and Phyllis Doescher Olsen.

She was married to Edwin Raymond Flynn on August 22, 1964. She graduated from Westminster High School in 1960 and later attended Catholic University in Washington, DC. Mrs. Flynn was a past president of the Wyoming Council of Catholic Women, past tribunal director for the Catholic Diocese of Cheyenne, and past choir director for St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wheatland, Wyoming.

Her survivors include her husband, Edwin Raymond Flynn of Nacogdoches, Texas; sons, Patrick Flynn of Chantilly, Virginia, Matthew Flynn of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Christopher Flynn and Ryan Flynn, both of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandchildren, Addison, Avary, Aiden, Courtney, Christopher, Andrew, Emma, and Reagan; her brother, Donald L. Olsen; her sister, Debra L. Olsen Conyers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Phyllis Olsen; and her son, Timothy Andrew.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2015, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at Wheatland Cemetery in Wheatland, Wyoming.
