Frances Lorraine (Hall) King, age 81, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. She was born in Jefferson, Texas on December 23, 1943 to Druery Hudson Hall and Christina Teresa Peterson Hall.
She graduated from Woden High School. Frances was a homemaker, a nurses aide and worked for Campbell's soup.
She enjoyed crochet, sewing, boats, gardening and loved talking on the phone to family and friends. She was a member of Attoyac Hunting Club.
Frances is survived by daughter, Lisa Jenkins; son, Billy Arnold Jr. and wife Monica; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; Pam and Tim O’Sullivan, Barbara Rector; sister-in-law, Pam Arnold.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, “Buddy” Calvin Norman King; daughter, Tonya K Boatman and husband David; granddaughter, Ashly Arnold; 5 sisters and 1 brother.
A visitation for Frances will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches, TX 75965, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Frances will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, Texas.
