It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George Michael Campanella on August 13th, 2025 at his home in Cushing, Texas.
George was born September 17, 1958, in Denver, Colorado. He grew up and raised his family in Westminster, where he also met his wife Kelley in 1979. He worked at Cast Transportation for 20 years and never missed a day.
Many words could be used to describe what a great man George was, but the one word that always comes to mind is DEDICATED. From his family to his job, this trait reflected him best.
George loved spending summers at lake McConaughy grilling and camping with his whole family. He was an avid sports fan dedicated to his favorite football team, the Denver Broncos. He loved watching NASCAR and was able to attend a race last year with his boys. He enjoyed spending Sundays with his wife cooking his amazing sauce and meatballs, rocking to Elvis, and gardening out in the yard.
Nothing will be able to replace such a great loss, but we will continue to uphold the thing that he was most passionate about: FAMILY.
HE MAY BE GONE FROM OUR LIVES BUT NEVER GONE FROM OUR HEARTS
George is survived by his wife, Kelley Campanella; his daughter and granddaughter, Megan Raile and Lexi Raile; his daughter and her husband, Jessica Caliento and Thomas Caliento; his sisters, Cathy Campanella, Julie Campanella-Arlt and Lisa Campanella; his brothers, John Campanella and Paul Campanella; his nephews, Patrick Campanella, Christopher Campanella, Cory Campanella, Anthony J. Campanella III, Nicolas Campanella, JC Campanella, Ian Arnold; his nieces, Shawna Campanella, Hope Campanella, Marissa Campanella, Savannah Campanella; as well as many other extended family members.
