Glen was a kind hearted, compassionate and determined man. By trade, Glen was a journeyman electrician and superintendent over all the projects and jobs he was involved in, providing electrical work on many of the commercial and residential buildings in our community. He graduated from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) after attending Texas Bible College. Glen worked for over 25 years until his accident in 1998. Glen considered himself a self-made man who enjoyed working and learning new things. He built his own house, and what he didn’t know about it he researched until he understood what needed to be done. He had many challenges in life that would have taken most men down, but Glen was determined to survive and care for his family. Upon his early retirement he enjoyed hunting and processing deer. He loved fishing and gardening. He was also quite accomplished on raising hogs! He could raise and sell nearly 250 hogs at a time! You could find Glen on the weekends cooking his favorite glazed donuts. There is no doubt that Glen will be greatly missed.
