Homer Fred Stotts, Sr., 86, of Nacogdoches passed away peacefully in Nacogdoches, TX, Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was born on October 2, 1932 in Cushing, Texas to Larry Stotts and Jessie King Stotts. Homer worked for Brown & Root off shore, Lone Star Feed and Herider Farms of Nacogdoches. He was of the Baptist faith. He never saw anything he could not build or repair; he was a very hard worker and took pride in his work.
He is survived by daughters, Amy Lynn Yeley of Chireno, Laura Louise Stotts of Nacogdoches, Lisa Jane Ashworth of Alabama; sons, Homer F. Stotts, Jr. and Freddy Lamyrle Stotts Sr. both of Nacogdoches; sister, Ann Christopher of Nacogdoches; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wives, Cathy Y. Stotts, Sarah Goins, and Lamyrle Rice; sons, Jamie Allen Stotts, Robbie Dale Stotts, and William Robert Lynn Stotts; grandson, Justin Lee Stotts; brothers, Larry, Mack, Johnnie and Silas Stotts; sister, Sue Nell Beavers.
A memorial visitation will be held, 1:00 until 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 30, 2019, Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home.
