Kevin Ray Barr

Kevin Ray Barr, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 45 on July 20, 2025, in Nacogdoches, Texas. Born in Conroe, Texas, Kevin was a junior at Conroe High School and known for his strong work ethic, and love for cars.

Kevin was a skilled mechanic who operated his own golf cart business with his father Donald and most recently worked as a cabinet maker at Foretravel Motorcoach in Nacogdoches, where he was proud to build and create with his hands.

He is survived by his father, Donald Wayne Barr; his sons Cameron, Cory, and Cody; his daughter Carlee; his brother Chris Barr and sister-in-law Stephanie; nephews Baylin, Ryan, and Colby and his wife Elle; and niece Chelsea. Kevin was preceded in death by his loving mother, Virginia Fields Barr.

Kevin had a deep love for cars, especially working on them and attending car shows with his close friend Shannon. He also enjoyed playing blackjack and, in recent years, took up fishing to spend more time with his father. One of the most meaningful chapters of Kevin’s life was rediscovering his faith in Christ at North Point Church in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Kevin will be remembered for his generous spirit, and deep loyalty to those he loved. His presence will be missed dearly by all who know him.
