She was born September 9, 1928, near Altoona, Wilson County, Kansas. She was the daughter of Jerome Paul Wing and Donna Chamberlain Wing.
She was a retired realtor, a member of the First United Methodist Church, and the Daughters of the American Revolution, Nacogdoches Chapter. She attended Chanute Junior College in Chanute, Neosho County, Kansas, and Lamar University in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis P. Brown of Cushing, Texas, and Kenneth R. Brown of Guymon, Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. C.K. (Wanda) Reece of Waterloo, Iowa; and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2011, at High Prairie Church in Wilson County, Kansas. Interment will follow at High Prairie Cemetery in Wilson County, Kansas.
