She was born November 17, 1948, in Shelby County, Texas. Mrs. Pierce had been a longtime resident of Martinsville, Texas. She and Ivan A. Pierce were married on June 4, 1972.
Her survivors include her husband of 44 years, Ivan A. Pierce of Martinsville, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Jenni Pierce of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Katie Pierce of Martinsville, Texas; grandsons, Caseon Pierce and Kaleb Pierce; granddaughter, Lillie Pierce; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Robert Cousins; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Sherry Fancher; and a sister, Jan Fancher.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert T. "Bud" Fancher and Jean Linthicum Fancher.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Martinsville Cemetery, located at 10892 FM 95 South in Martinsville, Texas. Officiating will be Bro. Michael Henson.
