Linda Mae Smith

After graduating from school, Linda attended Stephen F. Austin State College for a time before deciding that her true calling was caring for her family. She devoted her life to being a homemaker, creating a warm and loving home for those she cherished most.

Linda is survived by her son, Chester Smith; her daughter, Belinda Jones and husband Gary Jones; her granddaughters, Callie Rapsilver and husband Harold, and Annie Meyer and husband Cliff; her grandsons, Hadyn Smith and wife Elizabeth, and Logan Warren; as well as her great-grandchildren, Heath, Hallie Anna, Noah, Lily, Phillip, and William. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chester Smith Sr.; her grandson, Ethan Smith; her sister, Carole Ann Blankemeyer; and her brother, Jack Germany Jr.

Linda found joy in sewing and reading, but above all else, her life centered around her family—especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
