Nona Marie Christian

Nona Marie Christian, age 62, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Nacogdoches. She was born April 20, 1959 in Tyler, Texas to parents William Freeman and Faye Sanders Freeman.

Nona graduated from John Tyler High School in Tyler. After high school, she attended Abilene Christian University earning a Master Degree in Communication Disorders/SLP. Before her recent semi-retirement, she was the director of rehabilitation, and the speech pathologist for Willowbrook Nursing Center in Nacogdoches. In her free time she enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.

Nona was preceded in death by her husband Charles Christian; and granddaughter, Alexis Prince.

She is survived by her parents; siblings, Brian Freeman of Marshall, Texas, Dean Freeman of Tyler, Texas, Denise Cervantes of Plano, Texas, and Lisa Hall of Pflugerville, Texas; children; Michael Prince and wife Rachel of Kemp, Texas, and Katherine Prince of Tyler, Texas; and grandchildren, Abigail Prince, Anabelle Prince, and Allie Prince all of Kemp, Texas.

A memorial service for Nona will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 12:00 Noon in the Sunset Chapel at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965.
