

Raynell graduated from Tyler High School, Tyler, Texas, in 1951. She was married to Raymond Henry Stanaland by Raymond's father, Elder William Virgil Stanaland, on June 15, 1951. She was preceded in death by Raymond on December 4, 2001.
Raynell is survived by her husband, Lenvel Stanaland of Nacogdoches, Texas; two sons, Alan Ray Stanaland and wife, April Pevey Stanaland of Leander, Texas, and Larry Wayne Stanaland and wife, Pamela Crow Stanaland, of Nacogdoches, Texas; four grandchildren, Summer Stanaland Jurrells and husband, Jason of Leander, Texas, Clayton Alan Stanaland and wife, Amy of Austin, TX, Jennifer Stanaland Thomas and husband, Bill of Fort Worth, Texas, and Christopher Wayne Stanaland and wife, Amanda, of Nacogdoches, Texas; she is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and numerous family members and friends.
Raynell was a homemaker and active member of Corinth Primitive Baptist Church in Appleby, Texas. She loved to travel and one of the highlights was the trip she and Lenvel made to Lake Louise, Canada, a lifelong dream of hers. Raynell also loved her family and The Lord.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Corinth Primitive Baptist Church, Hospice of East Texas, or a charity of your choice.
Visitation will be held at Cason Monk-Metcalf, Nacogdoches, Texas, on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 5127 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.
