Rebecca Dian Ray

She was born Oct. 14, 1950, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to parents James and Elizabeth Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy E. Ray; a son, Matthew Ray; and two granddaughters, Allishia and Felicia Gray.

Her survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jay Bocook of Nacogdoches, Texas; a daughter, Melanie Renae Ray of Madisonville, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Melissa Ray of Nacogdoches, Texas; grandchildren, Heather Ray McCaskill and husband Kenny, Sarah Gray, Rebecca Gray, Blake Leighton and wife Lesli, Jaci Ray, Brianna Leighton, Makayla Ray, Katelyn Ray, Jamie Ray; and great-grandchildren, Vallen Zayne, Emily Ann Leighton, “Rowdy” Jeremy Scott, and Amber Page Leighton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Alline Anderson of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Jimmy and Betty Anderson of Sherwood, Arkansas; and an aunt, Mary Ann Broussard of Lumberton, Texas..

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Cason Monk-Metcalf’s Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North St., Nacogdoches. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel with Bro. Sonny Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow at Blackjack Cemetery, on County Road 350 in the Blackjack Community.
