

Rosalyn was born January 29, 1942, in Garrison, Texas, to Grady and Annie Love Frederick. Mrs. Cooper was a great mother and friend who was devoted to her children and blessed with a servant’s heart. She loved fishing, gardening, cross stitching, puzzles, and listening to southern gospel music. Rosalyn was a member of Northwood Baptist Church.
She was married to William Thomas Cooper and he preceded her in death.
Her survivors include her children, William Thomas Cooper II and wife Sandy of Long Branch, Texas, Rosalyn Marie Barringer and husband Robert of Willis, Texas, and Janice Sue Casper and husband Rick of Appleby, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Barringer, Blake Barringer, Makaela Barringer, Melissa Vaugh, and Levi Dew and wife Charly; great-grandchilden, Easton Barringer, Evan Vaugh, and Lilly Vaugh; special family members, Mary May, Tommy and Emily May, Jackson, Walker, and Barrett May, Mary Alice Green, and Jonathan and Mary Kate Green; sisters and brother, Ilaverne Bowden and husband Calvin, Faye Prichard, Carolyn Ballow, Bobby Frederick and wife Juanita; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brothers and sisters preceding her in death were Lenville Frederick, Evelyn Reese, Royce Frederick, Boyce Frederick, and Dora Frederick.
Visitaton will be held 6 to 8 p.m. today (Monday) at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Holly Springs Cemetery with Bro. Todd Muckleroy officiating. Family and friends will meet at Cason Monk-Metcalf (5400 North St. in Nacogdoches, Texas) at 1:00 p.m. to travel in procession at 1:30 p.m.
