She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 12, 1940, to parents Anthony and Virginia Pellegrino.
Rose was a very caring and loving soul with a heart of gold. Her children were her life, and she loved them very much. Being of Italian heritage, it was in her nature to always make sure everyone had more than enough food to eat. Rather than letting people make their own plate, she would set multiple food dishes on her kitchen table for everyone to enjoy. Rose liked to make sure she looked nice and "always had her face on." Even later in life, she enjoyed going to the casinos and playing the slots. She truly knew how to make miracles happen.
