Mr. Pickett was born Aug. 23, 1952. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Pickett. He is survived by his wife, Karen Pickett, and his parents, Archie and Robbie Pickett of Many, Louisiana.
Funeral services have been set for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 11, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas. John Stewart of Calvary Chapel in Garland, Texas and Richard Hooton of First Methodist Church of Zwolle, Louisiana will be officiating. Interment will follow with military honors at Fairview Cemetery, located off Hwy. 21 east of Nacogdoches.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
