Pete is survived by his wife, Helen (nee Bates), 3 daughters: Elaine Madden (Dennis), Lisa Stover, and Sharon Stover; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Pete was a World War II veteran, a Mason, and a Shriner.
Pete celebrated his life through his family, friends and his hobbies including woodworking, golf, and music. Pete was a Texan by nature if not by nurture, and loved living here.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the memorial fund at the First United Methodist Church of Nacogdoches.
