Douglas Ray Dickman

Douglas Ray Dickman 55 of Deshler Ohio passed away on July10, 2014 at the Hospice of Toledo. Born on September 24, 1958 in Napoleon to Albert and Norma (Armbuster) Dickman. United in marriage to Janet ( Wanless ) Dickman on August 8, 2003.

Loving step father of Jackie (Tim) Merrifield, Brad (Joanna) Wanless, Chad (Ashley) Evearitt, Ryan (Amy) Evearitt. Grandfather of Brittney, Nick, Alex, Kianna, Halie, Kaden, Aubrey, Peyton and Colt and two great grandchildren. Also survived by his mother Norma Irene Dickman Napoleon, siblings Chuck (Terri) Dickman of Texas, James Dickman of Napoleon, Randy (Kathy) Dickman of Napoleon.

Preceded in death by his father Albert Dickman. Grandfather Raymond Armbruster and grandmother Daisy Armbruster.

Doug proudly served his country in the Army from 1986 to 1994 and was stationed in Afghanistan.

He was employed by Advanced Drainage in Napoleon for eleven years. Doug enjoyed listening to Allan Jackson every Saturday with his Grandma Daisy. He spent a lot of his free time playing bingo at the McClure Legion with friends. He was an avid Braves fan and watched many baseball games. He also loved going mushroom hunting.

Visitation for Doug will be held Sunday July 13, 2014 from 2-8 p.m at Snyder-Wesche funeral Home 830 N. Scott St. Napoleon Ohio. Funeral Services in his honor will be on Monday July 14, 2014 at Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home beginning at 11 a.m. Doug will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery where he will be accorded full Military Honors from the McClure American Legion Post. Memorial Donations may be made to Janet Dickman.
