Norma Jean Jennings

Norma J. Jennings, 87 was born on December 29, 1925 and passed away on January 13, 2012. Daughter of Harold and Della (Spangler) Kratzer of Napoleon, Ohio. Loving wife of Robert Jennings Jr. they were married on November 25, 1944 at St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Norma is survived by two daughters: Rita (Wayne) Feather of Liberty Center, OH and Susan Sloan of Houston TX. She has one grandchild, Matthew (Shirley) Feather and two great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Napoleon High School in 1943 and worked for Tri-County REA in Napoleon for several years. Norma and Junior were farmers for most of their lives. Norma started working at Chief Supermarket in Napoleon in August of 1973 and finished up running the Deli at the Defiance North Chief and retired in 1988. Norma took up oil painting after retiring.

Visitation for Norma is Tuesday January 15, 2012 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home Napoleon. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Whitmire Officiating.
