
Robert “Bob” Harlan Rothrock, 71, of Napoleon, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Golden Living Northcrest Nursing Home in Napoleon. He was born on May 17, 1942 to Betty and George R. Rothrock, Sr. in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. Bob was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1963 to 1966. He worked in the trucking industry for 23 years, most recently with Preston Trucking and also worked for Sauder Woodworking prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Napoleon American Legion. Bob loved to watch Penn State football, and enjoyed attending games as his children coached ball teams. He especially enjoyed seeing his grandchildren play baseball.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Janet (Tuttle) Rothrock; children, Tammy Leigh (Tony) Powers, Bobby (Mary) Rothrock, and Brian (Wendy) Rothrock; grandchildren, Brandon and Nathan; and brothers; George “Jobe” (Janie) Rothrock, Jr., and Willis “Ed” (Betty) Rothrock.
Friends are invited to visit from 2pm to 8pm on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home in Napoleon, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Bob’s name may consider the American Cancer Society, or the Donor’s Choice.
