Angelica also known as Titi or Titi Gela left her home in Ponce, Puerto Rico to search for a better life in New York City.

She was married to Carlos DeJesus and raised two sons with him- Charlie and Kevin DeJesus. After moving to N.Y. she worked as a pool attendant at the John Jay pool on the East Side of New York.

After a few years of doing that job, she moved on to a different career as a Home Health Aide to which she eventually retired from at the age of 86 years young. Proudly, during this time, she was awarded a recognition award for 100% attendance. She never missed a day of work.

Shortly after retiring, Angelica moved to Miami, Fl to live with her niece who cared for her. During this time, she would spend her time listening to music and dancing. Her favorite singer was Javier Solis and her favorite song was Mi Viejo San Juan.

Titi Gela is also survived by her 2 grandchildren- her granddaughter Aries and grandson Devin DeJesus. She has 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who truly loved her.

We were all so fortunate to be able to celebrate 94 wonderful years with her- all which we enjoyed to the fullest.

A visitation for Angelica will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 12 midnight at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn, 27100 OLD DIXIE HWY, NARANJA, FL 33032. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 7, 2022 Starting at 10:00 AM at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn.
