James Martin Cokl was born on August 27, 1924 in South Bend, Indiana to the Union of Martin Joseph Cokl and Mary Fern Whitson. James graduated from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana and was a Proud veteran having served in World War II and the Korean War. James was also a Miami-Dade County School Teacher for 30 years before retiring. He was predeceased by his Wife, Regina, who passed away in 1965 and his son David. On October 15, 2016 James passed away in Kissimmee, Florida and left behind a host of Family, Friends, and Loved ones to cherish his Memory, including his children: Derrik Anthony, Dwight, Diana and Debra, his Grand Children: Jennifer Montenegro, Dawn Vadera, John Harmon and David Harmon and his Great Grand Children: Collin Montenegro and Jade Montenegro. Funeral Services will take place for James on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 27100 Old Dixie Highway, Naranja, Florida, 33032 from 10 AM until 2 PM.
