James David Wilkinson

James David Wilkinson, age 80, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte and three children: Dorcas, James and Joshua. He also has four wonderful grandchildren: James, Danielle, Nathanael, and Elias. Jim is also survived by his son-in-law, Mark; daughters-in-law, Susan and Elizabeth; his brother, Michael, and sister, Linda.

Jim is a veteran of the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. He served in the Air Force achieving the rank of Chief Master Sargent. At the time he received this honor, Jim was the youngest in this rank and proudly dedicated over 30 years of service to this great Country.

After retiring from the military, Jim continued his passion to service and help others by working in orthopedics at Baptist Health South Florida Hospital and volunteering with Disaster Relief Florida until his permanent retirement where he enjoyed the remainder of his days with family, friends and his faithful companions Erin, Coco and Sarge.

On Saturday, January 28, First Baptist Church of Cutler Bay, 10301 Caribbean Boulevard, Cutler Bay, Florida will host viewing at 10:00 AM and services at 10:30 AM.. A military funeral will follow at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn Cemetery at 27111 Old Dixie Highway, Naranja, Florida.
