Barbara Ann Shokal

Barbara (Gingras) Shokal passed away on July 18, 2016. She was one of 12 children born to Alfred J and Helen (Rand) Gingras on Januart 28, 1930 in Exeter, NH. She attended the Newmarket School systems and later in her life moved to Nashua, NH. Barbara worked in many mills and shoe shops over the years. She found the love of her life, Albert, and enjoyed so many happy years together. Her heart was truly broken when he passed. Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends but loved her bingo games at the church and spending time with her cat who she adored. In addition to her husband, all her siblings have predeceased her with one surviving sister, Frances Currier (George) of Exeter, NH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank a special guardian, Denise, for making sure Barbara was always taken care of and her needs were met. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W. Hollis St. Nashua. Burial will immediately follow at Pinewood Cemetery, Nashua.
