Bradford W. Count, 88, of Nashua and formerly of Wellesley Mass, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2022. Born on September 12, 1933, he was the son of the late Walter Edward and Marion (Schneider) Count.
Bradford grew up in Wellesley and graduated in 1952 from Wellesley High School, then attended Wentworth College. He served his country for four years in the United States Air Force until he was honorably discharged in 1956. After his service, he and Marcia married and spent 64 loving years together. For more than 20 years, he worked as a draftsman for Polaroid, and then after retiring spent time driving an elementary school bus on Cape Cod. Soon after he and his wife moved to Naples, Florida where he would volunteer at the hospital as part of the pastoral care team. He enjoyed being on the ocean and fondly remembers many good times on his boat “Count 4” with his family, enjoyed many wonderful rides on his Honda Goldwing, and spent some of his time learning the art of bird carving.
He is survived by his beloved wife Marcia (Westcott) Count; son Steven Count and his wife Ann; grandchildren Samuel Count and his wife Elizabeth, Caroline DeSimone and her husband Nicholas; and great-grandchildren Remy, Everett, Louie, and Eva.
A committal service followed by military honors will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, May 13 at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery located at 110 Daniel Webster HWY, Boscawen, NH.
