Constance "Connie" A. Silvia

Connie A. Silvia, 77, of Nashua, NH passed away on Tuesday, January 08, 2013 in the St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua with her loving family at her side. She was born on December 30, 1935 in Nashua, a daughter of the late Conrad and Alicia (Enright) Perrault.

Connie graduated from Nashua High School, Class of 1954, and had been a trophy winning Majorette while in school. She worked for many years as a hairdresser, at Isodores on Main St. in Nashua and eventually for over 30 years running her own business in her home, Coiffures by Connie. She was a communicant of St. Christopher Parish in Nashua, enjoyed playing cards and loved spending her summers with her family at Hampton Beach. She was a great mom who raised four wonderful children.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years; John J. Silvia of Nashua, three children; Kimberly Carmody Stevens and her husband Dale of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, John M. Silvia of Nashua and Chrissy Silvia Massone and her husband Freddie of Hudson, NH, three grandchildren; Joseph Dale Stevens, James Dale Stevens and Jack Carmody Stevens, one step granddaughter, Carrie Lynn Reed of Maine, two sisters; her twin sister; Sandra Lavoie and her husband Ronald of Nashua and Maureen Flynn and her husband James of Nashua and by a brother; Richard Perrault and his wife Ann Morando of Florida. She is also survived by a special daughter; Donna Ducharme Robinson of Townsend, MA and by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her son; Joseph James Carmody in 1991.

Visiting hours were held on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the St. Laurent Funeral Home, 116 Elm St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, January 12, 2013 in St. Christopher Parish, 62 Manchester St., Nashua. Interment followed in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua.
