

David Leo Hallen, born on February 22, 1955, passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 70. Residing in Antrim, New Hampshire, David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
David attended Leicester High School, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with creativity and craftsmanship. He worked as a carpenter and home builder, dedicating his career to constructing homes and spaces that would be cherished for generations.
He was survived by his loving spouse, Mary-Beth (Betsy) Hallen. Together, they raised three children: Jocelynn Drew, Myles Hallen, and Emmasae Hallen. David also leaves behind his grandchildren: Aria Drew, Preston Hallen, Zander Drew, Veda Hallen, and Maeve Drew. He is fondly remembered by his sisters, Rosemary Hallen and Maryann Hallen, and his brothers, Paul Hallen, Brian Hallen, John Jr. Hallen, and Peter Hallen. David was predeceased by his father, John Hallen, and his mother, Eleanor Hallen.
David, known by everyone as Dave or Pepe, was a creative artist at heart. He expressed his artistic talents through abstract fluid acrylic art and crafting fine furniture. In his youth, he enjoyed football, softball, and hockey. As he grew older, Dave found joy in fishing, golfing, and watching his children's sports events. His passion for the arts extended to building sets for local theatre productions. He was known for his helpful nature and his love for animals, always ready to assist an animal in need. Dave had a unique ability to bring laughter to those around him with his humor and wit.
David Leo Hallen will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of creativity, kindness, and laughter will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
