Diane P. Goguen Savoie

She was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on September 5, 1947, the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Boudreau) Goguen.

Diane has been a Nashua resident for 26 years, previously residing in Waltham, Ma. She is a communicant of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Nashua. Diane was employed for many years as a Real Estate Agent for various companies throughout her career, including Caldwell Banker, Foster & Foster, ERA Drivic, and Dewolfe N.E. She was very successful in the real estate business, receiving several Real Estate Awards. She loved to drive and was proud to spend a year driving tractor trailers. Most recently she worked as a sales clerk for JC Penney. Diane enjoyed playing bingo with her niece, traveling, especially to Canada to visit with her family, and eating seafood. Her greatest love was spending time with her family especially her granddaughter, Mia Mary, and her pseudo granddaughter Amanda.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by three brother; Raymond Goguen, Alcide Goguen, and Camille Goguen, and a sister; Jeanita Gagnon.

Diane is survived by her loving husband; Ivan J. Savoie of Nashua, a son; Michael Savoie and his wife Julie of Londonderry, NH, a daughter; Monique Savoie of Nashua, two brothers; Alyre Goguen and his wife Noella, Ronald Goguen and his wife Eva, both of Moncton, New Brunswick, two sisters; Doris Arsenault, and Linda McMullin and her husband David both of Moncton, New Brunswick, a granddaughter; Mia Mary Savoie of Londonderry, NH, and a pseudo granddaughter Amanda Saraceno of Townsend, MA, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours were held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the ZIS-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 26 KINSLEY STREET, NASHUA, NH 03060. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 9 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Nashua. Burial followed at St. Louis Cemetery in Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane’s name to Merrimack Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
