Isabelle M. Goodspeed

Isabelle M. Goodspeed, 95, of Merrimack, NH passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Greenbriar Terrace Nursing Home, Nashua. She was born February 21, 1920 in Nashua, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Gailunas) Sabluski.

Isabelle was a loving, caring, giving and generous person. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. Everyone loved her and her smile. Isabelle enjoyed putting together puzzles, was an avid fan of the Red Sox and enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods. During her working career, she worked at Sanders Associates for 17 years and at Sprague Electrics for 18 years.

She is survived by two children; Joseph Adamonis and his wife Sharon of Henniker, NH and Alice (Adamonis) Thornton and her husband Forrest “Woody” of Merrimack, six grandchildren; Deb (Thornton) Williams and her husband Mark of South Carolina, Jill (Adamonis) Gouveia and her husband David of Nashua, Tom Thornton and his wife Jenn of Merrimack, Jody Adamonis and his wife Kristin of Nashua, Jamie Adamonis of Hudson, NH and Ryan Adamonis and his wife Erin of Methuen, MA. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; Joe and Tyler Gouveia, both of Nashua, Alex, Jack and Adam Thornton, all of Merrimack, Benjamin Adamonis of Nashua and Sophia Adamonis of Methuen, and by two nieces; Carol Vanderlosk and Mary Horan. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters; Anthony Sabluski, Frank Sabluski, Jose Sabluski, Annie Horan and Nellie Vanderlosk.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 from 9:00am to 10:00am at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. A funeral service will then be held in the funeral home Monday at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ledge Rd., Hudson, NH. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Home Health & Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive Merrimack, NH 03054.
