

Louise Guy, loved and appreciated by family and friends, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack at the age of 70 years and 2 months with her loving family by her side. She lost her battle to colon cancer after a courageous five year fight.
Louise was born in Canada, in a city called La Tuque (Province of Quebec) on May 7, 1945, the daughter of the late Florent and Yvette (Pronovost) Gauthier.
After finishing first in her class at Laval University (Quebec City) in Medical Technology, she worked for four years in Trois Rivieres (Province De Quebec, Canada) and then moved, in 1969, to Nashua, NH where she worked for 41 years as the supervisor of the Blood Bank in St. Joseph Hospital, she was a very dedicated employee.
She leaves behind, one brother, Gilles Gauthier (Therese Massicotte), two sisters, Celine Gauthier, Marielle Gauthier (Notary Guy Landry), four nephews and nieces, Isabelle Gauthier, Francois Gauthier (Sherry Du), Anne Gauthier, Samuel Landry (Marilyne Stebenne), two great nieces, Abigaelle Du Gauthier, Athena Du Gauthier, and all of her exceptional friends.
She made such dear friends playing tennis and golf; she was a part of a tennis league in Nashua. She also played softball, and liked hiking and going camping.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 3:00PM-5:00PM at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua. A funeral service will immediately follow Saturday at 5:00PM in the funeral home. Interment will be held 10:00am Monday, July 20 in St. Louis de Gonzague Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis St., Nashua.
