Maggie "Mitch" Mary Katherine McShea

Maggie “Mitch” Mary Katherine McShea, 74, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 28, 2020. Born on October 10, 1946 in Chicopee, MA, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Katherine (Small) Mitchell.

Maggie grew up in Chicopee, MA, and came to Nashua in 1961 to attend nursing school. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Nursing School in 1965 and then continued nursing at St. Joseph’s Hospital for more than 30 years. Maggie was full of sass, well respected among her peers, and always giving and helping those around her. She loved spending hours at the beach, relaxing at Pine Acres where her campground was located, reading and shopping, and most of all the Patriots.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Robert John McShea; son John McShea; brother Tom Mitchell; sister Kathy Mitchell; nieces Kate Winkler, Ann Gale; nephews Matt Coggan, Mark Coggan, Justin Mitchell, Sean Mitchell, Dave Eldridge, Kyle Russin, and Ryan Russin. She is predeceased by her sister Susan Mitchell.

A visitation will be held from 3-7pm on Wednesday December 9, 2020 at Zis-Sweeney & St. Laurent Funeral Home located at 26 Kinsley St, Nashua NH.
