Robert H. Dionne

Robert H. Dionne, 79, of Nashua, passed away on September 19, 2013 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack following a long battle with cancer. He was born May 24, 1934 in Nashua, son of the late Henri and Yvette (Houle) Dionne.

Robert was a 1953 graduate of Nashua High School and went on to join the Army from 1955-1958. He also attended the Vocational school in Manchester to become a welder, and worked for Ingersoll Rand.

Robert was also a big sports fan, the Red Sox and Bruins being his favorite teams. He was an avid reader and a communicant of Infant Jesus Parish in Nashua.

He is survived by his sister/cousin Beverly (Grigas) Kasper and her husband John, Aunt Cecile (Dionne) Carter, Uncle Roger Dionne and wife Barbara, God Son Lance M. Kasper and wife Marilyn and their children, Michelle A. Kasper and Kristen M. Kasper. Cousins, Elaine (Ducharme) Corriveau, Pauline (Ducharme) McCalister and Arthur Ducharme.

Robert was predeceased by aunts, Laura (Houle) Ducharme, Beatrice (Houle) Grigas, Lillian (Houle) Johansen and one cousin, Dorothy (Ducharme) Lyon.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rau and staff, and the Community Hospice House and staff.

There will be no memorial service. Instead, please spend time with a loved one, do something nice for someone else and celebrate special moments with your family and friends.
